4月16日，由国家电北京市电力公司承建的北京环球主题公园公共充电站工程正式开工。

我们将在园内分别建设861个新型交流有序充电桩、37个直流充电桩。 国家电北京电力工作人员表示，目前，园内首先开工的停车楼充电站项目，共安装475个新能源汽车充电桩，是目前国内规模最大的智慧有序充电楼。今年，国家电北京电力计划实施2819个充电桩建设工程，可覆盖北京城市副中心、北京2022年冬奥会和冬残奥会赛事场馆周边、北京大兴国际机场临空经济区等。

4月14日，国家电召开的2020年全面建设新能源汽车充电设施项目集中联动开工视频会议宣布，在北京、天津、河北、上海等18个省(直辖市)集中联动建设126个示范带动项目，涵盖公共、专用、社区等多种类型充电基础设施。2020年，将安排27亿元投资充电设施建设，新增充电桩7.8万个，预计可带动新能源汽车消费超过200亿元。
